Whether you need a blog built from the ground-up, or just need mentoring with your existing blog strategy, I can help.  My services are customized based on your company’s individual needs, but here’s some of my most popular services:

1 -  Blog creation and blogging strategy implementation – This is for a business/organization that currently is not blogging, and needs help in creating a blog as well as creating a strategy to support that blog.  With this service, I build a custom blog for your business/organization, working with you to tailor all elements to your specific needs.  After the blog is created, I’ll work with your bloggers to teach them not only how to create compelling content that helps your blogging efforts succeed, but I’ll also show your bloggers how to improve their community-building efforts both on and off your blog.  Finally, we’ll create and implement a social media monitoring system so that you can be aware of all the online conversations/reactions happening around your company, your industry, as well as those happening concerning your competitors.

This service is designed to be 4-6 months in duration.  If necessary, I can be hired to provide additional mentoring/coaching to support your blogging efforts after the initial project ends.

2 – Content Creation – Ideally, I would prefer that my clients handle most if not all of the content creation for their blogs.  But I also understand that often, companies need to outsource some or all of the actual blogging to someone else.  If your company wants to start blogging but needs to let someone else handle the actual blogging, I can help.  Working with your company, I can handle the content creation at the onset of the project, and either continue to create the content for you, or train your company on the content creation process so your company can gradually handle the process yourself, over time.

3 – Blog training – This service is for a company or organization that is currently blogging, and needs help in taking their blogging efforts to the next level.  I start by assessing your current efforts, and identifying areas for improvement.  I’ll also examine your existing blogging strategy to make sure that it’s properly aligned with your larger business strategy, and supports your business goals.  The length of this service varies based on your company/organization’s needs.

4 – Blog mentoring – This service is for a company that’s currently blogging, but needs to occasionally have access to a trusted source that can help them with their blogging efforts.  This service is less intensive than the Blog Training service, since it assumes that your company only needs occasional help in improving its blogging efforts, and doesn’t require extensive training.  This service is often added to an existing blog project, for a set number of months, or on a retainer basis.

What if you don’t know what you need? Often, a potential client will contact me that wants to determine if they should be blogging.  Or perhaps they have an existing blog that they want to improve, and they aren’t sure if they can handle the efforts themselves, or if they should hire an outside consultant to help with the process.

For these clients, I recommend that they start with my Blog Mentoring service, with normally a 3-4 month duration.  This gives me a chance to work with your company and assess your current blogging situation, and accurately judge your blogging needs, moving forward.  The main benefit to you is that it often saves you money because you aren’t paying for services you don’t need.  Not every business should be blogging, and it doesn’t make sense to assume that you should and pay a consultant to launch a blog for you, if your time and money could be better spent in other areas.
