Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I’ve decided to move this week’s #blogchat from tomorrow nite to Monday nite at 8pm, since tomorrow is Mother’s Day.
What is #blogchat, you ask? Here’s the FAQ.
Now what will the topic be? We’ll discuss fitting your blog into your social media strategy. And there’s two main points I want to hit on:
- Should your blog be the central point for your social media strategy? It has generally been accepted for a few years that most companies should let a blog be the central ‘hub’ of their social media efforts, and let other tools support the blog. Is that still true? Are other tools like Facebook replacing the blog as the central spot?
- Which tools are best to support your blogging efforts, and why? If you launch a blog, which tools can help you support your blogging efforts?

I’m so glad I caught this notice tonight and was able to participate. Great forum for sharing and learning information about blogging, can’t say enough how valuable the information and people are in #blogchat. Will next week be Monday night again or back to Tuesday? I’m sure I’ll see references on Twitter, just wanted to mark my calendar to try and make it. I’ve learned a lot of great things tonight, will be trying to apply them all (one at a time) in the weeks to come.
