In 2017 I want to speak at your event. Since 2008 I have spoken at hundreds of events, everything from local social media groups. to the Main Ballroom at South By Southwest for its Featured Session. And in 2017 I am going to speak at more events than I ever have before, and I want your event to be one of those.
Here’s where you can learn more about my speaking. In short, here’s how I will make your event better:
- I work closely with your Event Planner to make sure my session enhances and strengthens your agenda and event. We work together to find the exact fit in topic and focus that gives your attendees the vital information they need, and that makes your event more marketable as a result.
- I fully customize every presentation and workshop. I work closely with your event to make sure that my talk is focused on your specific audience with case studies and teachings that will benefit them directly.
- I am your promotional partner. Your event and I are locked at the hip on this. The more successful I can make your event, the more it benefits me as a speaker. In this regard I consider myself an extension of your event team since we have the exact same desired outcome; Making your event as successful as possible.
- I am recognized as one of the top social media marketers in the world. I bring star power to your event and will help you sell tickets.
Availability and Fees
All speaking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Typically, Summer and Fall is when I am the busiest, Winter and Spring less so.
As for my fees, it depends greatly on two things: Travel involved, and the type of event. In 2017 I will be speaking at three types of events, and these are my base fees for each:
Social Media, Marketing and Advertising Chapters or Groups: This includes organizations such as Social Media Club or American Marketing Association chapters, etc. Typically, I will speak at these events if my travel fees are covered, and if your event is located within driving distance (Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville, Memphis, etc.), it greatly increases my chances of being free to speak at your event, and I will typically charge nominal travel fees at most.
If your event is outside the state of Alabama, then I will typically require all travel costs be covered (flight, hotel, transportation), and I may ask for a nominal speaking fee.
Industry Social Media and Content Marketing Conferences: This includes events such as Marketing Profs B2B Forum, Content Marketing World and Social Media Marketing World. For any such conference, I require all travel costs be covered (flight, hotel, transportation), and I may require a nominal speaking fee in addition.
Company Events: This includes any event that is specifically for your company’s employees and/or clients. Examples would include annual conferences, user events, etc. For these events, I require all travel costs be covered (flight, hotel, transportation), and in addition I require a speaking fee.
Please email me so we can lock in your event on my speaking schedule in 2017. I will add that I have already started taking commitments and it looks like September and October are going to be full by the end of the year, if not sooner. As I said earlier, I have more flexibility in the months of January-April and in November and December. Let’s chat and make your event amazing!
