[...] Is your company on the same (social media) page? Kodak’s Director of Interactive Marketing and Convergence Media, Tom Hoehn gives an exclusive look at Kodak’s ‘Ripcurl’ social media engagement system, which he co-created with Kodak’s Chief Blogger, Jenny Cisney. The system is designed to quickly and easily explain the different ways in which social media (and other forms of marketing) function, be it as tools to create content, engage in 2-way dialogue, or as a channel to distribute content. The system also shows everyone the tone to use when engaging with customers via social media, and what the expected outcomes are.
Definitely a great idea, Mack. Seems the biggest hurdle companies face when trying to connect in digital spaces is what they should do, how they should measure it, and what the point of it all is.

If you can answer these 3 questions on one sheet of paper and everyone in the company understands the paper, I think you're off to a good start.

Mack - Your timing is impeccable. I'm working on a SM strategy at Blue Sky Factory and this framework is just the start (and kick in the pants) that I need. I owe you a beer (or 10) when we meet in person.
