Anna I love the idea of you and Beth doing #IMCChat. I really am surprised that there's not more twitter chats being started. I even keep suggesting certain topics to friends, but it IS a lot of work.

But well worth it for the amazing conversations and connections!

Thanks James! What I love about #blogchat is that it always introduces me to smart people like you, that I hadn't interacted with before #blogchat. So it's a great discovery engine for finding smart people!

What a terrific overview of building community Mack. Sunday nights are tough as I get the kids ready for a hectic Monday morning, but I read the transcripts. Great content, and I just may surprise you at an upcoming #blogchat. I too am grateful for following you and the valuable contribution you've made to marketing and social media overall. I'm honored to be working with Beth on #IMCChat out of our similar passion for integrated marcom and hope to learn much from you both as I've been entrenched in corporate America (and love it) but have not made nearly a wrinkle in this space as you both have.

Thanks for keeping it real and sharing your experiences with your audience.

Speaking just for myself, I love #blogchat! I hate it when I miss one. I've enjoyed the camaraderie there with other bloggers, as well as the valuable insight and information that so freely flow. Until you wrote this post, I never really backed off and looked at it as an example of how to build a successful community. You’ve succinctly pointed out some important characteristics here. Once again Mack, I am grateful for what you give in this space!
